On June 20th, 2023, officers responded to a Walmart regarding a theft. The employees reported that the suspect, Shantell Wells, was inside the store stealing clothes, candies and car fresheners, and appeared to be under the influence. Upon making contact with the suspect, she was given a trespass notice. Moments later she returned to the store and was arrested on sight, but detained her left officers with significant injuries.
