On February 24th, 2023, officers were dispatched to a residential building in reference to a hit a run. Upon their arrival, officers met a witness who showed them a video of the events. As reported, a female is observed exiting her vehicle and fleeing the scene on foot after crashing into multiple vehicles.
After entering the suspect's residence, officers escorted her to their patrol cars where she began resisting and yelling profanities at the responding officers. She was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, leaving the scene of a crash, and resisting arrest without violence.
